• The tank bottom diaphragm valve (also referred to as a vessel outlet valve or drain valve) is specifically designed for installation at the lowest point of process vessels, tanks, fermenters, and bioreactors.
• Its primary function is to enable complete, hygienic, and sterile drainage of process fluids without leaving residual product in the vessel.
• The valve features a short-bottom connection with minimal dead leg, compliant with the Institute of Brewing (IOB) and EHEDG guidelines for vessel drainage.
• The short-bottom nozzle extends slightly into the vessel, creating a flush internal profile that prevents product accumulation at the tank bottom.
